How the analytics gate works
Every page we send carries an instruction to the Google tag, written by our server before the tag itself runs: storage denied. In that state the tag measures page views without cookies and without identifying you, and ad click identifiers are stripped.
Choose "Allow analytics" and we record the choice in rdai_consent. From the
next page onwards the same instruction says granted, and the tag may set the cookies
listed above for Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement.
Withdrawing is symmetrical: choose "Only essentials", or delete the
rdai_consent cookie, and the instruction goes back to denied.
When you complete a registration by clicking the confirmation link, the page you land on reports that one event to Google together with a SHA-256 hash of your email address — never the address itself. Google uses it to match the registration to an ad click, and only where the consent above is granted.
Embedded video
The mission page has a video. While consent is denied, the page carries a link to
YouTube and no player, so nothing is requested from Google until you choose to open
it. Once analytics are allowed, our server puts the player into the page instead, on
youtube-nocookie.com — Google's privacy-enhanced mode, where a view
inside the embed is not used to personalise your YouTube experience or the ads you
see elsewhere. Loading the player means your IP address and the cookies your browser
already holds for Google reach YouTube, which is why it waits for your choice.
Cookies we do not set
No cross-site tracking beyond the Google tag described above. No social media pixels. No session replay. No fingerprinting. No third-party fonts — the site uses the fonts already on your device.
